The 2014 Jackson Hole Writers Conference was held from June 26 to June 28 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The conference featured workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as talks, readings, and manuscript critiques. The faculty included poets Bill Ransom and Mary Austin Speaker; fiction writers Sarah Bird, James Magnuson, and Justin Torres; and creative nonfiction writers Julene Bair, Molly Caro May, and Jon Mooallem. Tuition was $365 before May 12, and $395 thereafter. Lodging was not included, but conference rates were available at area hotels and inns. Registration was first come, first served. For a one-on-one manuscript critique, applicants submitted three copies of five poems totaling no more than 10 pages or up to 15 pages of prose with a $30 registration fee by May 20. For an extended one-on-one manuscript critique, applicants submitted 12 poems totaling no more than 20 pages or up to 40 pages of prose with a $140 registration fee by May 20.
