Hol Art Books is an independent press dedicated exclusively to publishing writing on visual art--classic works of art criticism and history, artist texts and biographies, literature in translation, and the best of contemporary fiction and poetry. In a departure from traditional publishing, Hol brings authors and publishing professionals together online to collaboratively identify, evaluate and create its titles. We use a unique collaborative publishing system. While open to anyone writing about visual art, successful authors will be highly self-motivated and interested participating in the publishing process from start to finish.
