Hol Art Books is an independent press dedicated exclusively to publishing writing on visual art—classic works of art criticism and history, artist texts and biographies, literature in translation, and the best of contemporary fiction and poetry. In a departure from traditional publishing, Hol brings authors and publishing professionals together online to collaboratively identify, evaluate and create its titles.
Tips From the Editor
We use a unique collaborative publishing system. While open to anyone writing about visual art, successful authors will be highly self-motivated and interested participating in the publishing process from start to finish.
