Hanging Loose is dedicated to publishing new writers and old writers whose work deserves a larger audience. The first issue of Hanging Loose Magazine was published in 1966, and in 1968 it introduced a regular section devoted to work by talented high school writers.
Please send up to six poems or one story at a time. We rarely publish nonfiction, but there are exceptions. We do not publish reviews. For more information, please see the submissions information on our website.
