Grey Sparrow offers a "national treasure" series in poetry and features writing by a Pulitzer Prize poet for most issues and/or a national treasure from another country.

Grey Sparrow was honored, January 8th, 2011, in Los Angeles during the Modern Languages Association Convention, as the Best New Literary Journal of the Year by the Council of Editors of Learned Journals. A few of the former magazines that have been recognized are "The Oxford Review," "Narrative Magazine," and "The Gettysburg Review." We are thrilled!
