Grants Management Specialist

This position is located with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) in the Office of the Deputy Chairman for Programs and Partnerships, Literature and Arts Education Division, Washington, DC.

This position is being advertised concurrently with NEA-KMc-14-1188747 (MP), using Merit Promotion procedures.

If you are a status applicant (current permanent Federal employee or former permanent Federal employee with competitive reinstatement eligibility), and you are selected under this vacancy, you may be subject to serving a new one-year probationary period.

Salary Information: GS-11: $63,091- $82,019 per annum.

First time hires to the Federal government salaries are normally set at the beginning of the salary range listed.

To qualify for this position, applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 performing duties such as: utilizing knowledge of the Literature field to implement and manage Literature projects (involving, for example, poetry, prose, translation, books, journals, book festivals, literary events, digital marketing, and/or services to the field); managing budgets and documents associated with non-profit organizations, universities, or government agencies; and communicating with the public. OR

Applicants may also qualify by possessing a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR a LL.M., if related. Or a combination of education and experience.
