Grants of up to $1,500 will be awarded annually to poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers who are residents of Maine. Writers who are not enrolled as full-time students in a field related to literary arts are eligible. Applicants must contact the director before applying. Submit four copies of five poems totaling no more than 20 pages or 15 to 20 pages of prose written within the past three years, a project description, and a resumé by June 27. There is no entry fee.
