Frost Place

The Frost Place Conference on Poetry will be held from July 14 to July 20 at Robert Frost’s former homestead in Franconia, New Hampshire. The conference features poetry workshops, lectures, craft discussions, readings, and time to write. The faculty includes Sally Ball, Christine Casson, Cleopatra Mathis, Matthew Olzmann, Kevin Prufer, Martha Rhodes, and Daniel Tobin. The cost of the conference is $1,450, which includes meals and lodging, or $1,000, which includes meals, for commuters. The fee for auditors is $1,035 for the week or $145 for a single day, which includes lunch and dinner. Scholarships are available. Submit four poems and a one-page letter of intent with a $25 application fee by June 10.

The Frost Place Poetry Seminar will be held from August 4 to August 9. The seminar features poetry workshops, craft talks, readings, and one-on-one meetings with faculty. The faculty includes David Baker, Patrick Donnelly, Vievee Francis, and Page Hill Starzinger. Tuition is $1,450, which includes meals and lodging, or $1,000, which includes meals, for commuters. The fee for a single day is $125. Scholarships are available. Submit three poems with a brief bio and a $25 application fee by July 1.
