Editorial Focus

Our aim is to help writers get the exposure that can help them achieve deserved recognition. We publish only one book a year, and we try to get the book to important readers—readers who care about contemporary poetry and fiction, reviewers, and editors of literary magazines and presses.

Tips from the Editor

We look for work that's well crafted and emotionally and intellectually engaging. Please read the samples on our website. For our fiction competition, please no genre fiction. We provide written responses to every submission with SASE.
