Editorial Focus
Evening Street Press is centered on Elizabeth Cady Stanton's 1848 revision of the Declaration of Independence: "that all men -- and women -- are created equal," with equal rights to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." It focuses on the realities of experience, personal and historical, from the most gritty to the most dreamlike, including awareness of the possibilities of this new culture. We publish perfect bound chapbooks, full-length poetry books, short novels, and the twice yearly literary journal Evening Street Review. See guidelines at eveningstreetpress.com.
Tips From the Editor
When submitting online, please place all work (including a bio if you wish) in a single .doc or .rtf file. We reply within a month and a half for the Review, so no simultaneous submissions. However, for our contests, simultaneous and previously published work is acceptable.
