Elizabeth Graver

Event Type: Fiction Reading
Event Date and Time:
4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Description: Set in a summer community on Buzzards Bay from 1942 through 1999, Elizabeth Graver's new novel, The End of the Point, traces one family's journey through the second half of the 20th century, examining the powerful legacy of family and place and exploring what we are born into, what we pass down, preserve, cast off or willingly set free. Graver will read from The End of the Point and discuss how her research on (among other topics) World War II, Scotland, and 1970's counterculture fed into the world of the book. A reception will follow the event.
