The Edward F. Albee Foundation provides four- and six-week residencies from mid-May to mid-October to poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers at the William Flanagan Memorial Creative Persons Center in Montauk, New York. Writers are given individual rooms but are responsible for their own transportation and meals. The center can accommodate up to three writers at a time. Submit up to 12 poems, one short story, two chapters of a novel or memoir, or two essays; a personal statement; two letters of recommendation; and a résumé between January 1 and March 2.
