Author's Bio

Donna M. Davis is a native of central New York. She received her M.S. in Education from Syracuse University. A former English teacher, creative writing instructor, and business owner, she also ran The Village Scribe, a résumé writing and book design business. For many years, she was the typesetter for "The Comstock Review" and designed chapbooks for winners of its annual Jessie Bryce Niles Chapbook Contest, including past poet laureate Ted Kooser's book "At Home." She produced her own chapbook entitled "Several Ways to Look at the Stars." In addition to the journals listed below, her poems have also appeared in Coffin Bell Journal, The Milo Review, Raw Art Review, and The Altadena Review. Her work appeared in Our Changing Earth Anthology published by The Poet magazine in 2023 and in Poetry of the Wildflowers Anthology by Tiny Seed Journal in 2023.
