Desert Nights, Rising Stars Writers Conference

The 2012 Desert Nights, Rising Stars Writers Conference was held from February 23 to February 26 on the Arizona State University campus in Tempe. The conference features workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as panel discussions, readings, and master classes with faculty writers. The faculty in 2012 included poets Denise Duhamel, Carolyn Forché, A. Van Jordan, Alberto Ríos, and Eleanor Wilner and fiction writers Robert Boswell, Mat Johnson, Alix Ohlin, Melissa Pritchard, and Xu Xi.
