Deirdra McAfee

Author's Bio

Deirdra McAfee’s prizewinning stories, widely published in print and online, have appeared in The Georgia Review, Willow Springs, Confrontation, The Seattle Review, The Diagram, and others, as well as being anthologized. A skilled teacher as well as a trained editor, McAfee received an MFA in fiction from The New School and an MA in English literature from Georgetown. She reviews occasionally, and is a member of the National Book Critics Circle.
