Lanesboro Art Center

The Lanesboro Art Center offers two- to four-week residencies from November through May to poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers in Lanesboro, Minnesota, approximately 120 miles southeast of Minneapolis and St. Paul in the valley of the Root River. Residents are provided with lodging, work space, and a stipend of up to $625 per week. Submit five copies of up to 10 pages of poetry or prose, a project proposal, a letter of recommendation (sent directly to Lanesboro by the reference), and a resumé by June 30.
