Author's Bio

Colette Sartor’s stories have appeared and are upcoming in FiveChapters, Kenyon Review Online, the Chicago Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, Printers Row Journal, Prairie Schooner, The Drum, Colorado Review, Harvard Review, Fugue, Redux, Carve, Quarterly West, and Crab Orchard Review, among other places. Her work has also been anthologized in such places as Short Stories from Chicago Tribune's Printers Row, 2013 Press 53 Open Awards Anthology, Law and Disorder: Stories of Conflict and Crime, and elsewhere. As a freelance editor she has edited numerous fiction and nonfiction projects, including a creative writing textbook, and she served as senior fiction editor for the award-winning online journal Pif Magazine. She has taught writing at USC Gould School of Law and at UCLA Extension Writers’ Program. She also teaches private classes and works with students individually as a private writing coach.
