Carol Westberg’s first full-length collection of poems, Slipstream, was published in 2010. A finalist for the Ruth Stone Prize, she has published poems in Prairie Schooner, Hunger Mountain, Northern Woodlands, and Granite Review and has work forthcoming in Calyx. The granddaughter of Swedish immigrants, she spent her childhood on a family farm in Iowa, earned a BA from Duke University, an MA from Stanford University, and an MFA in poetry from Vermont College. She has lived in Boston, Paris, San Francisco, and Hanover, New Hampshire, working as a teacher, writer, editor, and marketing director.
