The Museum of Fine Arts Houston offers residencies of one to three months from July 1 to December 15, 2013, to midcareer poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers at the Dora Maar House in Ménerbes, France. Residents are provided with travel expenses, lodging, work space, and a stipend of $50 a day, and must participate in one community event during the residency. Submit two work samples of up to 20 pages each, a curriculum vitae, a project description, a proposal for a community event, and two letters of recommendation (sent directly to the organization by the references) with a $10 application fee by February 15.
