Amjed Qamar studied at The Ohio State University. She holds degrees in English and Psychology. Beneath My Mother's Feet is her first novel. It received a starred review from Kirkus Reviews, is a Junior Library Guild Selection, and a B&N Discover Great New Writer's Pick. Ms. Qamar participated in signings and speaking engagements at Dublin Scioto High School, Thomas Elementary, and Barnes & Noble Easton located in Columbus, Ohio.
