Alabama Book Festival

The 2013 Alabama Book Festival will be held on April 20 in Montgomery at Old Alabama Town. The festival features discussions, readings, a letterpress demonstration, book signings, and a book fair. Participants in 2012 included poet Antoinette Brim, Randall Horton, and Abraham Smith,Jeanie Thomson, Adam Vines, and Frank X. Walker; fiction writers Marlin Barton, Pat Cunningham Devoto, Gin Phillips, Alice Randall, and Kate Wainwright; and creative nonfiction writers Peggy Vonsherie Allen, Jennifer Horne, Rheta Grimsley Johnson, and Wendy Reed.
