I have been a steady writer, but career and life have excessively intervened. I prefer writing in an uncomplicated manner, basic and easily understood, whether professional materials, short stories, or poetry. My museum career and teaching have kept me busy and almost fulfilled, but writing is my passion. Now that I'm settled in Tahlequah, capitol of the Oklahoma Cherokee, and have co-edited a Cherokee anthology, I'm starting a Cherokee Writers Group. There's a lot of talent here!
