Elizabeth Bradfield is the author of Approaching Ice (Persea, 2010), which was a finalist for the James Laughlin Award from the Academy of American Poets, and Interpretive Work (Arktoi Books/Red Hen Press, 2008), which won the Audre Lorde Prize and was a finalist for a Lambda Literary Award. She is also founder and editor of Broadsided (www.broadsidedpress.org), a virtual, grassroots press that harnesses the tradition of the broadside to put literature and art on the streets. Her poems have appeared in The Atlantic Monthly, Poetry, The Believer and Orion as well as several anthologies. A former Wallace Stegner Fellow, she works as a naturalist and lives on Cape Cod.
