Danielle Hanson received her MFA from Arizona State University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Her book Ambushing Water is forthcoming from Brick Road Poetry Press. Her work has appeared in over 45 journals and anthologies, including Hubbub, Iodine, Rosebud, Poet Lore, Asheville Poetry Review, and Blackbird. She is Poetry Editor for Doubleback Books. She has edited Loose Change Magazine and Hayden’s Ferry Review, worked for The Meacham Writers’ Conference, and been a resident at The Hambidge Center. Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net.
Karen Head is the author of Sassing (WordTech Press, 2009), My Paris Year (All Nations Press, forthcoming September 2008) and Shadow Boxes (All Nations Press, 2003). Her poetry has appeared in a number of journals and anthologies. As a scholar of contemporary American poetry, she has begun to explore the connections between traditional text-based poetry and digitally-enhanced poetry, an exploration that involves her in a number of projects being conducted in the Wesley Center for New Media at Georgia Tech. Her digital poetry was featured at the E-Poetry 2007 festival in Paris. Her most recent digital project was a collaborative exquisite corpse created via Twitter with 12 other poets; “Monumental” was detailed in a TIME online mini-documentary. In July 2016, she became the new editor of the Atlanta Review.
