Hope Coulter, a fiction writer and poet, was born in New Orleans and grew up in Alexandria, Louisiana. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her MFA from Queens University of Charlotte. Hope lives in Little Rock, Arkansas, and teaches at Hendrix College, where she directs the Hendrix-Murphy Foundation Programs in Literature and Language.
Geffrey Davis is the author of Revising the Storm, winner of the 2013 A. Poulin, Jr. Poetry Prize. He grew up in Washington and holds degrees from Oregon State University and The Pennsylvania State University. His work has appeared in Crazyhorse, Hayden’s Ferry Review, The Massachusetts Review, Nimrod International Journal, Sycamore Review, and elsewhere. He teaches in the MFA program at the University of Arkansas.

In addition to his listed fiction publications, Michael Fontana is currently at work on a novel. He has taught writing courses at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and at NorthWest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville, Arkansas. He has read in a variety settings, ranging from a public park to a university auditorium to a bar. His most important work has been in developing writing opportunities for homeless people and people living with mental illnesses.
