A fifth-generation Alabamian, M.P. Jones IV is a graduate teaching assistant working toward a master's in Literature at Auburn University where he reads for Southern Humanities Review. He is also founder and editor-in-chief of Kudzu Review, a journal of Southern literature and environment. His poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in Tampa Review, Canary Magazine, Grey Sparrow Poetry Journal, Town Creek Poetry, Avocet Review, Wilderness House Literary Review, Bolts of Silk, A Few Lines Magazine, and The Centrifugal Eye Poetry Journal, among others. His memoirs have appeared in Sleet Magazine and decomP magazinE.
