Ada directs "The Pleasure of Poetry," a program she founded, at the Somerset Public Library in Massachusetts. She reviews poetry books for "Midstream Magazine" and has an MFA in Writing from Vermont College.
The recipient of grants from the Bunting Institute, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Fulbright Foundation, Sue Standing has published four collections of poems and teaches creative writing and African literature at Wheaton College (MA). She has collaborated with visual artists (Katherine Kadish and the Printmakers Network of Southern New England) and composers (David Froom and Louis Karchin). She lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
