Nina Bannett is department chair and associate professor of English at New York City College of Technology, City University of New York (CUNY). In addition to These Acts of Water, her chapbook, Lithium Witness, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2011. Her poetry has also appeared in journals such as Open Minds Quarterly, Bellevue Literary Review and CALYX.
Stanley H. Barkan, the poet/translator/editor/publisher of the Cross-Cultural Review Series of World Literature and Art, has, till 2016, his 46th anniversary year, produced some 425 titles in 57 different languages. His own work has been translated into 25 different languages, and published in 18 collections, several of them bilingual (Bulgarian, Chinese, Italian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Sicilian). In 2006, He was invited to be the first solo featured poet at the Dylan Thomas Centre in Swansea, Wales, by Peter Thabit Jones, poet/editor of The Seventh Quarry.
