Richard Goodman is the author of French Dirt: The Story of a Garden in the South of France, A New York Memoir, The Soul of Creative Writing and The Bicycle Diaries: One New Yorker’s Journey Through 9/11. He has written on a variety of subjects for many national publications, including The New York Times, Harvard Review, Vanity Fair, Saveur, Commonweal, Creative Nonfiction, River Teeth, Ascent, French Review, and the Michigan Quarterly Review. Richard Goodman is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of New Orleans.

Jennifer Hanks is the author of Prophet Fever (Hyacinth Girl Press). They were a finalist for Heavy Feather Review's Double Take Poetry Prize, judged by Dorothea Lasky, and are a 2016 Lambda Literary Emerging Writers Fellow. They have two additional chapbooks, gar child (Tree Light Books) and Ghost Skin (Porkbelly Press), forthcoming in 2016. Their recent work appears or is forthcoming in Arcadia, Gigantic Sequins, Bone Bouquet, HOUSEGUEST, and elsewhere. The chapbook series editor for Sundress Publications, they live in New Orleans and tweet @corsetofscales.

Carolyn Hembree

Carolyn Hembree was born in Bristol, Tennessee. Her debut poetry collection, Skinny, came out from Kore Press in 2012. In 2016, Trio House Books published her second collection, Rigging a Chevy into a Time Machine and Other Ways to Escape a Plague, selected by Neil Shepard for the 2015 Trio Award and by Stephanie Strickland for the 2015 Rochelle Ratner Memorial Award. Her work has appeared in Colorado Review, Drunken Boat, The Journal, Poetry Daily, and other publications. She has received grants and fellowships from PEN, the Louisiana Division of the Arts, and the Southern Arts Federation. An assistant professor at the University of New Orleans, Carolyn teaches writing and serves as poetry editor of Bayou Magazine.
