I have a J.D. from Harvard Law School. I've practiced law on Wall Street, been a professional jazz musician, and run a veterans' hospital.
Founded The Poet's Press in 1971 in NYC; press still operates in Providence, RI with 206 books to date. Chairman of The Philbrick Poetry Prize at Providence Athenaeum. As a neo-Romantic poet, areas of special focus in my writing are the Gothic and supernatural, Greek myth, and verse plays. Presently working & teaching at University of Rhode Island.
