February 15, 2008-- Poets & Writers, Inc., the nation’s largest nonprofit organization serving creative writers, has relaunched its Web site, www.pw.org.

“We’re thrilled to be able to provide so many new and exciting features on pw.org, which will provide a richer experience for all visitors to the site,” said Elliot Figman, executive director of Poets & Writers.

The new Web site will include searchable databases of literary magazines, small presses, and grants and awards; a national calendar of literary events; job listings; expanded listings in the Directory of Writers; My P&W, which will allow users to customize their experience on our site; multimedia content; and lists of the most popular and most-emailed articles from Poets & Writers Magazine. In addition, organizations applying for funding from P&W for their literary events will be able to submit their applications electronically. Poets & Writers is hopeful that the new resources will help writers publish their work and connect with their peers.
